BEN360 helps you shop for plans, enroll, and view basic plan details, but once your coverage begins and you start using your health insurance, you’ll need to create an online member account directly with your insurance carrier.

Your carrier’s member portal is where you can track the day-to-day usage of your plan, including:

BEN360 does not display these plan-usage details, so setting up your carrier portal is an important next step after you enroll.

When to Create Your Carrier Account

After you enroll through BEN360, it may take a few weeks for your insurance carrier to fully process your enrollment. If you try to create your account too early, you might receive a message saying they can’t locate your information yet.

Wait until your plan effective date or about 2–3 weeks after enrollment before creating your account to ensure your carrier has completed setup.

How to Create Your Member Account

Although each carrier’s website is slightly different, the process is generally the same:

  1. Go to your insurance carrier’s website
Use the website listed in your plan documents or your plan confirmation email. Most carriers have a prominent link like “Register,” “Create Account,” or “Member Login.”
  2. Start the registration process
Click “Register” or “Create an Account.”
  3. Verify your identity. You’ll typically need to provide:
    • Your full name
    • Date of birth
    • Member ID (found on your ID card once available)
    • Or last 4 digits of your SSN
    • Some carriers will allow registration without a member ID by matching you using other personal information.
  4. Create your username and password
Follow the security requirements listed by your carrier.
You may also be asked to set up security questions or two-factor authentication.
  5. Confirm your email
Most carriers will send a verification link or code to your email. Follow the instructions to complete setup.
  6. Log in to access your plan
Once your account is created, you’ll be able to view your plan details, track claims, download ID cards, check deductible status, and manage your coverage.

Need Help?

If your carrier can’t find your information during setup, don’t worry — it usually means your enrollment is still processing. Try again after a few days. If the issue continues, you can reach out to your carrier’s support team or contact support@ben-360.com for guidance.
