
Employees may experience qualifying life events (QLEs) throughout the year that allow them to make changes to their individual health insurance plans outside of standard enrollment windows. While BEN360 provides full visibility into these events, employers do not need to take any action when a QLE occurs — Benafica manages the entire review and approval process.

When an employee experiences a QLE, they can submit documentation directly through BEN360 to request enrollment changes.
Benafica handles:
- Reviewing QLE submissions
- Verifying documentation
- Approving or denying requests
- Guiding employees through next steps
- Submitting changes to insurance carriers
Even though you do not manage qualifying life events, BEN360 gives you full transparency through the Qualifying Life Events tab.
Within this tab, you can:
- View all employee-submitted QLEs
- See each event submitted, including its type (e.g., marriage, birth or adoption, loss of coverage).
- Check the status of each event
Statuses may include:
- New Request
- In Review
- Completed
- Denied
Click the eye icon next to the event to dive deeper into the request and review submitted documentation.
